      Poor Sales Management

      Pros

      Very little competition in the market.

      Cons

      Lack of diversity in sales management while preaching diversity. New sales leadership has the Oracle mentality and does not align to the companies values. Yelling, cursing and back stabbing has become the new norm. Expect HR to protect the company at all costs. Buyer beware.

      Outstanding work environment, but on the decline

      Pros

      Professional culture, friendly, supportive, and striving for rationality. Good amount of long time employees are still with the company helping the retention of knowledge.

      Cons

      The management in product development has been deteriorating in the last several years. A few years ago, a full product-dev re-org was followed by a second reboot to fix the mistakes of the first. After the re-org, engineers ended up less involved in important decisions. Appreciation of successful project delivery meaning respect, awards, or occasional promotion to project participants also subsided. The social (party) budget of teams increased substantially but that cannot mask the real issues.

      * Decent Pay * Friendly Work Atmosphere if you are not a field consultant (Collegiality) * Flexibility in work timings for some employees * As of this month OCT 2017 share prices at an all time high * Stock options offered.

      Cons

      * A Liberal Cess Pool. Hard left wing ideologues in management * CEO Marcus Ryu never shy's away from bashing the President of USA (Checkout his articles in NY Times) * If you are a conservative, your manager will most likely scorn at that. * Mandatory Christmas leave is docked against you regular vacation days. * Minimal hikes on Pay (Equal or less than inflation) ,So negotiate well at hire. * Majority of bonus/perks linked to Stock options. The Stock is was overpriced IMHO, so every a slight miss in expected results will tank the shares of GWRE
