Pros

Flexible schedule, not too busy all the time, you're only on 1 project at the time

Cons

Toxic middle management, consultant manager in Exton bullies fresh college graduates into doing extra tasks. Salary complaints are met with "I had it worst than you when I was your age", manager expects us to suffer, rent a closet out to live in to save money. Very horrible the way they did layoffs, employee with many years with the company were laid off without extra sentiment, extremely cold.

Pros

Nice work life balance, really good co workers, fantastic tech stack - EKS, Datadog, Istio, pay is good when compared to salaries to other companies in general.

Cons

Growing pains of moving to cloud stack, pay can be better for what we do

Avoid GSC (Guidewire Services Center)

Pros

Casual work environment. Travel over seas for training. Good work/life balance.

Cons

GSC work is not challenging or exciting. Hard to feel any sense of pride in the work being done. It is a rare to have to design any sort of algorithm to solve complex problems. Most of the work is dedicated to upgrades and other menial tasks.
