Pros

They let you wear jeans on Friday.

Cons

The sales teams are held in higher regard than any other department, but they are not held to any standards of professionalism or knowledge. It feels like high school here. There are cliques and people are singled out and literally made fun of for differences. I have never seen anything like it in a professional work environment. I do not feel valued as an employee or even as a human being. There is a complete lack of sensitivity, compassion, and empathy. Beware of what they tell you in the interview. They will tell you everything you want to hear, but the reality is that there is no stability or room for growth here. Expect low pay and minimal if any raises. As a lender, they do not offer anything to borrowers that cannot be offered at another lender. If anything, their lack of knowledge will earn them a bad reputation for over promising and under delivering. I do not see longevity of this company, in a world where automation and online lending is increasing.

Pros

The only pro I can think of was how NOT to be a manager.

Cons

Not a good place to work. Hands down the worst experience I've ever had. Was constantly harassed by my very inappropriate manager who was a director. Was actually a glorified assistance to the CEO. The CEO if ever in the office is ignorant to these problems this director is 100% responsible for. They play favorites at this company, paying employees too much for executive levels and too little for anything below. If you were on the inside of the inner circle you were rewarded, if not you were an outcast who was looked down upon. There is often stunted career growth due to favoritism as well. Hard work is not rewarded and I was actually treated worse after putting in a year of overtime, 10-12 hours a day. Also, upon doing some research on salary for my position in the area I come to find on average I was being paid 15k less than other jobs and 15k less than my current role. This company brags about culture and what not but there is not culture at all. This company like to think of itself as "small" or a "startup" but the opposite is true. It was very very corporate. At one point I was asked to pay back some of my paycheck because I forgot to clock out and take a break before 5 hours worked when my manager could have easily made the change. All in all, I would not recommend this company or any position in it to my worst enemy. Believe in yourself and look for a bigger, better opportunity.
