Pros

Honestly, none. Very broken platform and direction.

Cons

Management does not exist. Poor leadership from top down. Company owned by multiple investment firms (Guess who calls the shots). Owners (several) obviously do not care about quality employees. Not a place for non producing solid management. Way outdated systems, confusing structure and reporting system. Tools are non existent but promises are a plenty. Just make cold calls is the leadership style. No other direction or support. Commission structure is not sustainable. They seriously screw people over and they do it quickly, steal your success and don’t blink an eye. Recent lay off eclipsed over 400 people. No severance at any level and probably hoping for no law suits. Not the way to handle things in any business.

Pros

Thank God I got out. In Jesus name Amen!

Cons

A lot of politics. Empty promises. The company thrives on a dog eat dog competition to build up its portfolio. Each loan officer is hounded to to more, more, more which creates an environment ripe for unethical conduct. It masks itself as “coaching” but it is nothing but greedy ol fashion Mortgage schemes. The kind that brought the Great Recession! Oh how soon we forget what got Mortgage lending a bad name!

Pros

Benefits are great, no work on weekends, some of the employees are really superb individuals, requesting time off is easy and almost always a sure thing.

Cons

Management gets hurt feelings easily, there is no real HR to go to with issues, approaching supervisors with issues makes you the problem, some employees do very little work and management doesn't seem to care that you have to take all the weight, burn-out happens very quickly with heavy workloads, loan officers are rude, interrupting, belittling, demanding, and change their minds constantly after assigning tasks to others, management chalks up the attitude and flakiness to differences in personality, if you're not a loan officer you are of little worth to the company and they make you feel it, many employees are on the clock during personal business and even leave for lunch while still clocked-in, relationships between coworkers are borderline creepy sometimes with constant socialization and little work time, management expects employees to bend rules often to get work done that is against policy/compliance, management says "if someone is unhappy they should quit" rather than do their jobs and manage and try to fix the issues, people do not respect your space and dig through your desk to use your personal items like candles, nail files, etc. They will hire you with the promise of performance reviews, wage increases, job responsibilities, etc. then change the agreement and state that's not how its done after you are hired.
