Bonus plan is nothing compared to market compensations. Guild top executives hide when they are needed most. December of 2019 they had a huge IT crash that wiped out the systems for 2 weeks!! How does that happen at a company of this size ?! Needless to say they displaced alot of families and for Christmas and expected their employees then to work the holidays to make up for the mistakes after they got up and running on a temporary system. Upper management hid during all this!! The branches have a toxic culture that is focused solely on sales. Sales people are allowed to behave in any manner as long as they are bringing in business. They will promise the world and fire you as soon as you don't perform since there is no formal training. There is zero opportunity for advancement unless you are in CA. I would strongly recommend reconsidering taking a position here. The big banks are better to work for!! They are doing mass hiring of inexperienced individuals during this current mortgage boom a layoff will come!
