      Pros

      As a relatively new employee, I have been very impressed at all levels. I have found that most employees have tenure of over 10-30 years with Gustave A. Larson Company, which has proven to me the feeling that many people enjoy working here. Its atmosphere is casual, but professional and with future opportunities for advancement.

      Cons

      At this point, I truly do not know a downside with GALCO.

      Steady Work. Can advance within company.

      Cons

      Lack of communication from upper management to both Branch Stores and Distribution Centers. No way to give management improvement ideas nor do they ask. To much wasted productivity time on shipping products from Distribution Centers and Branch Stores that are just being shipped to move product to readjust inventory levels. Short handed on employees to get jobs done efficiently. Not very high pay for what job requires.

      I have worked for this company for 10 years and have enjoyed this job more than any job in my life. The Larson company is a dynamic growing company with roughly 400 employees and is a big player in the wholesale HVAC market. Senior management is intent on growing the business through sales and acquisitions. The industry is constantly changing and that makes for a fun,and challenging work place

      Cons

      I honestly cannot think of a downside to my time spent with this company. Management supports me when things are good and sticks by me when times are more difficult
