      Great pay and super great benefits. PTO policy

      Cons

      No one knows what they’re doing. It’s just fun and games until a customer has a real problem. Their CHAT WITH A CAPTAIN feature is a major joke when you actually need help. Working on MTN time zone. They’ll hire anyone Management was hired fresh off the streets, with no knowledge of payroll, HR, or benefits. Unlimited PTO that can’t actually be used because greedy people have taken it all.

      Pros

      through the growth of the company, there have been opportunities to see many parts of the business and grow professionally. Now that it is a larger org, and a lot of us are fully remote, the culture obviously has shifted a bit, but the people who work at Gusto are great.

      Cons

      Everyone is too nice to really take real feedback. There are a lot of docs and modes of communication so it can be hard to pinpoint information down that is accurate.
