Fast growing company with management issues

Pros

Promotions happen quickly as turnover happens (often), as others have mentioned it could be a great company with better management. Company is growing extremely fast, lots of potential if some changes were made.

Cons

Weak leadership. Lots of executives in place with little to no experience. Nepotism is abundant. Salaries can be below average. Benefits are lacking. Extremely high turnover - should be a sign!

Yes, we have experienced intense growth over the past few years, and as a result, we have had turnover. Our attention has been turned to these areas and in turn we have embarked on new initiatives to retain and develop team members. We’re quite proud that during this period of growth, the vast majority of our new leadership positions have been filled through internal promotions, and we feel this says a lot about the quality of our team. Every individual in a leadership position—family member or not—is 110% committed to the success and longevity of HHS, including consistently reviewing policies and procedures to ensure that we maintain industry-leading practices at all times.

Great idea, horrible ownership/management

Pros

Small company, good growth, lots of potential for the company to be successful. If it had better operational employees and more mature management it could be a great company.

Cons

Salary is below market, operations management and ownership are all "good ol' boys" and tend to be sexist/disrespectful. Business is very pro-nepotism, instead of hiring/promoting more qualified people family members get thrown into leadership roles.

Our home office is in Austin, so this employee probably worked there; it is true that we were paying below market for some types of employees, & a correction was made when we became aware. This is a company where friends & family members are encouraged to join, but we try to place them in jobs where they can be effective.

Pros

Fellow co-workers were great people to work with.

Cons

low pay, little to no raise, minimal training, micro management, no job security, management will try to make you feel incompetent so they can keep at same pay, little structure, and the list can go on for a mile.

This was another home office employee who may have been paid less than market; we certainly don't try to make employees feel incompetent. We also removed an executive last year for bullying employees.
