      Pros

      Can almost always guarantee a raise each year ,although minimum [2% - 3 %]. There are opportunities within the company once your foot is in the door.

      Cons

      Unpaid Overtime/Poor Employee development and Career Path/Very strict schedule 6:30 - 3:00 (Everything else requires PTO)/ Construction type mentality/Parking (Min a 10 to 15 min walk in all weather conditions)/ Slow career progression.

      Pros

      This place pays enough to get by in South MS.

      Cons

      Lots of blatantly racist workers Union dues go up every time you get a pay raise. Medical premiums go up every time you get a pay raise. No Dental Insurance Bad moral which leads to bad attitudes (It's not my job mentality) Attrocious parking situation Tons of people who feel they are "stuck" at this shipyard since there are minimal opportunities in this part of the country.
