      Pros

      The only good thing about working here is the healthcare package. The pay is merely OK for the dangerous work and environment.

      Cons

      I list these con's as a current employee. This shipyard sound be an absolute last resort if you need a job. -work days are much longer due to having to park and pay while fighting thousands of others or park for free and take twenty minutes to walk to work. -no room for advancement unless you have a golden set of kneepads -your boss and your bosses boss will ridicule you in front of you and others -management let's you know you are worthless and expendable to them -management makes up rules on the fly in order to get rid of people they don't like. -extremely poor working conditions. When it is cold, it is extremely cold. When it is hot, it is extremely hot. -management tells you to stay warm or cool and tries to write you up when you do. -management refuses liberal leave when it is issued and forces you to work when it is unbearably hot. -environment breeds thieves and liars. I really could go on and on and on, but I hope you ate getting the point. This is a terrible place to work. I have been an x32 for a while now and wish I was young enough to stay a new job.

      Pros

      I liked the opportunity for overtime and great pay. The management really helped the employees reach their goals they wanted.

      Cons

      It was a culture of slack. Everyone tried to do as little as possible because advancement was pretty much based on seniority and it was automatic for the most part. You didn't get ahead by being a hard worker.
