      Okay work, rewarding work

      Pros

      Rewarding feeling of knowing you're building ships for the US military. Decent pay. Decent amount of OT, Double time on sundays.

      Cons

      Parking! Management for some teams can suck. Alot of good ol boy Management. Did I mention parking? No sick time only Annual leave and 40hrs PT time.. for "good attendance"

      That first sentence in your "pros" review is a powerful one. At the end of the day, whatever weather, traffic, experience it brings, knowing, like you say, that we play a critical role in supporting the US military, is something meaningful to our many thousand employees across the country. It really is why we do what we do.

      Enjoyable until I was laid off

      Remote work, competent and understanding colleagues/management, adequate vacation/benefits

      Cons

      - Upper management expressed intent to bring people back to the office for more "face to face" time. It's outdated ideas like these that drive away talent. - Laid off several people at the end of the contract despite claims of noteworthy growth and contract availability throughout the year and in the future.

      Thank you for your insight into how you felt about return to office. Many roles provide flexibility and remote options. As policies become more finalized around return to office, it's important for candidates to understand requirements for the role and ensure their needs are aligned with the needs of the role.

      I had experience with the Army and was a little concerned about HII, having never heard of them. Overall, great experience

      Communication could be better between divisions to improve overall support to clients
