      Pros

      Company has higher salaries, and benefits than most organizations. Various types of experiences and exposure to different aspecs of organization.

      Cons

      Promotions are slow in coming. Good old boy network is alive and well. Management is isolated from the lower levels of organization. Top heavy in that there are too many VP's in company.

      Pros

      Educational assistance and good benefits package. Competitive pay with good Advancement opportunities for self motivated individuals.

      Cons

      Lack of engagement from employees. Many people feel as if they are owed something and to many lazy employees.

      Ingalls Pascagoula. Since NG left...declining benefits are now the norm.

      Pros

      Big organization stability and resources. There are many great people there. Experts in just about every field that you can learn from. Can specialize if you are able to move internally. Great place to learn quickly. Just out of school initial opportunities are good. Do not spend more than 3 to 5 yrs there.

      Cons

      Employees benefits are being cut consistently. Cut holiday this year. Cut PTO accrual rate. Eliminated Sick Time. Said can Flex time, but limited. Merit raises frozen for 6 months and very small when received before (except mgmt). Your pay check will decrease with respect to inflation. Will likely get no salary increases when you get within 10 yrs of retirement. Would only recommend working here if no other option at this time (why i clicked recommend). Limited hiring of salaried at this time.
