Some of the politics and promotion criteria are not to my liking. I say promote based ok responsibilities in lieu of time

Alright pay, mediocre benefits. As a welder you get more arc time here that you dont usually get at other companies. it really helps build your skills in the field.

Cons

It is a boys club, to advance you really have to brown nose your way up. And to get past a foreman position you have to be an apprentice or they will look right over you.
