Pros

Company lunches + great atmosphere within your team.

Cons

There’s very high turnover at this company for a reason. The CEO and his Landmark Forum consultants push this self help agenda and very strongly suggest you attend a Landmark Forum event (three 12 hour days of nonsense) in order to be considered a favorite employee. Look up the reviews for the Landmark Forum to truly understand the MLM/Cult-like atmosphere those events create. I’m all about bettering oneself, but this should take place in my personal life, not be forced into my professional life…especially when it’s taught by ‘professionals’ with no actual license/degree to do so.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We want to address this clearly. Our culture at Howard CDM is defined by Pride, Partnership, Commitment, Integrity, and Client Satisfaction. It is not defined by participation in any external program, and it has never been a requirement for anyone in the company. If that was your experience, then we did not communicate our values clearly at the time. Over the past five years, we have worked to more explicitly define and reinforce what our culture stands for—professionalism, respect, accountability, and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional work. We support individual growth in many forms, but always with respect for personal choice. Our focus as a company is on building strong teams, delivering high-quality projects, and operating with integrity in everything we do.

Thank you for the candid feedback. If this was your experience, then we fell short of our own standards—particularly around Partnership and Integrity. We expect our leaders to collaborate, communicate with respect, and hold teams accountable in a way that builds people up, not breaks them down. As we’ve grown over the past five years, we’ve made a deliberate shift in how we lead. We’ve invested in strengthening our leadership team and setting clearer expectations around accountability, communication, and professionalism. That includes reinforcing that leadership at Howard CDM is not about control—it’s about ownership, support, and alignment. Our culture is built on Pride in our work, Partnership with each other, Commitment to doing what we say, and Integrity in how we show up every day. When we fall short of that, we address it directly. We are not the same company we were years ago, and we will continue to improve.

Pros

Offers some autonomy with the opportunity to work directly with good leaders. Opportunity for growth if you seek it out, you must take the initiative and work hard.

Cons

Sometimes it can feel a little like management is micromanaging employees who are not doing well. Long hours are necessary more often than not to succeed.
