Pros

Overall very nice and professional people, but I had to deal with a weak link and bully. They aim to be on top of it in terms of services and company benefits. The rate of acquisitions is a bit daunting, but people seem to fly under the radar because HUB ends of needing everyone that will stay.

Cons

Unfortunately I was under a bully and someone so mean I was left speechless.but I guess that’s what bullies do . Unprovoked abuse and threats. For example, I was told I only had once chance to forget my password. I mean who does that ???. I didn’t forget my password by the way but it doesn’t matter. It’s too bad . Sometimes good companies have bad and mean people working for them. I say people like that will finally be revealed because they can’t hide their shortcomings forever! Whatever goes around comes around...

Pros

I have worked for 7 plus years at HUB and can say it was one of my two favorite, most rewarding, and best job experience I have had until the past 2 to 3 years. Progressively HUB has made changes with give HUB greater strength in the industry at the detriment of the employees. Longer hours, less work life balance, no raises and even paycuts while we are doing the same or more work. No our job did not get less or easier in COVID. Its busier and with the added changes to customers experience its even worse.

Cons

Pay is not up to par with the level of work we do. Working 60 plus hours a week to get your pay cut, bonuses taken away, 401k match lost, all because we panicked and thought things were going to be bad was one thing, but then on top to say we actually did very well through it but we are still not going to reinstate pay etc is a whole other thing, add that to the fact that HUB continues to acquire companies at the expense of the employees compensation cuts. We have hired employees to do redundant jobs that we are doing to make more work for us. Employees are kids and spouses of management. I use to be a huge advocate of HUB but I am highly disappointed the direction we are going. This year there was no employee appreciation day, no thank you, no mention of it, it just seemed to disappear. Next our annual survey of what HUB can do better again, it just disappeared no mention of it.

Pros

In some cases HUB offers a flexible work environment so that you can work from home, but that depends on who you work for.

Cons

You may be aligned with an office bully who despite all your attempts to maintain a professional relationship will make you feel like you are an utter moron if you ask her to repeat herself (that’s just one example). In addition, if you go to HR to find a solution, you will be fired. This happened to a co-worker of mine. So if you want flexibility you might or might not get it and if you do, the trade off is you might be working with a bully.
