Pros

After 1.5 years I'm still amazed every day how real and healthy the company culture is. There is a lot of diversity, yet everyone shares and lives the company values. Leadership is super transparent and passionate to empower people to grow. There is plenty of opportunity to take initiative. The success is recognized and celebrated. The offices are cool, with good snack selection, and everything one may need to be productive. Sales team is incredibly talented and hardworking.

Cons

The current SF office is getting too tight with all the growth, but hoping we'll move to another bigger location soon.

Pros

HackerOne is a mission driven company and keeps the company values at the center of everything! "Default to Disclosure," is huge and even in a remote role, I feel connected to what's going on at any given time.

Cons

With rapid growth comes the need for new and improved processes, but helping to build them out is part of the excitement.

Pros

- Great interview process (fast, thorough, fair) - Values the company ACTUALLY lives by - Values transparency and open communication a lot, which makes so many other things easier. Makes work easier and more efficient. - Great executive team. Smart, hard working, positive, encouraging, and promotes autonomy and development/learning. - Innovation and teamwork. Everyone is always trying to push the boundaries, be creative, and improve what already exists, and people do it with a team mentality. - HR dives deep into employee happiness. If they give a survey, they then jump into action and push managers to take action too if employees have thoughts/complaints/suggestions. - Fun, meaningful work. This could be a personal preference, but it's great to work with customers from SMB and mid-market to huge/global enterprise organizations, and actually feel like you're making an impact on their business. - Love my team and I love coming to work every day. We all work hard, but all still have fun and help each other. I think we've been hiring well, and more importantly, we handle "bad" hires well (quickly, honestly, respectfully). - Career development. We are growing. There are always new opportunities! Even across departments. - As a female, I feel that I'm treated extremely fairly. Our former COO/CFO was female, our new CFO is female, our VP of Sales is female, SMB/Mid-Market Sales Manager is female, and 3 out of the past 4 promotions on my team were female. I feel very equal and that I'm truly evaluated/recognized based on my good work. AND YES, my compensation is fair and equal! - Work/Life Balance. I come to work because I like it and I get a lot out of it, but I'm always encouraged to WFH if I need to avoid distractions, have on-sites that day, or am traveling, need to run errands, etc. Like if I wanted to visit my family, I can take a day off to travel, work from my family's place for a few days, take another day for family, take a day to travel back. No guilt trip about taking the time you need. If you truly are ambitious and want to grow your career, are willing to put in the work, want to contribute to a team, and also want to have a good time and be treated well, I highly recommend HackerOne.

Cons

- Typical growing pains of growth-stage company. No company is without problems, but the difference is that I actually believe we can solve them.
