The owner i worked for (they're franchises) was incredibly stingy with time off. I was full time management and got no sick time, no personal time, and any time missed had to be made up even if not my fault (for example - store was closed along with every other store during a blizzard. i had to make up the 8 hours that week on my day off). i'm sure it differs by franchise and what kind of owner you get.

No raises. Get treated like crap. No matter how good we do, it is NEVER good enough. Awful hours. Sometimes I work full-time (I'm part-time) with no benefits. I was making less than minimum wage for a while. Get yelled at a lot. Too afraid to confront employees, instead they have a weekly letter full of complaints and saying how bad of a job we're doing. Strict rules. Some employees get away with things that others can't. Some part-time employees get benefits and full-time pay, while other's get absolutely nothing. Find something better!! You can do sooo much better elsewhere, just look around.
