Pros

They encourage employees to put family and values first! A majority of people are genuinely nice and believe they are being helpful.

Cons

It's very "what happens behind closed doors." There are many big decisions and conversations had at the top of the hierarchy and the rest of the people swirl to meet the need with no context of how or why they are doing what they are doing. If you don't make the right group of friends, you may feel very outcast at times. If you try to go against the grain or think in a more forward way, chances are you will be the black sheep and people won't respond well to your ideas.

Pros

Good work-life balance, okay pay

Cons

People think that the name recognition of Hallmark should completely outweigh issues of culture, advancement opportunities, and lack of innovation. People here are petty, mean, and stifle creativity. The attitude toward millennials is especially poor— I’ve been told millennials should “just shut up because no one cares what they think,” meanwhile, the company wonders why they struggle to appeal to millennial consumers and why they can’t retain millennial employees.

Hallmark always losing

Pros

Flexible if you are ok with just getting 5 hours a week. Hurry up and get the job done so we can pay you just $10 for killing yourself and then go on home. The pro is I no longer work here.

Cons

Ungrateful managers especially when they have a good employee. Don't take care of those employees and they will leave. The turn over rate is insane because the field job is orchestrated by a bunch of dingbats sitting at a desk.
