started great, now seeing some issues
Pros
generous PTO and ability to use it (at least in my department). Yearly success share bonus was nice around October. Generally friendly staff overall.
Cons
This company is a corporation and operates as such. At the end of the day, their main focus is money. Mixing this philosophy with healthcare can obviously create some problems. In my experience, our department head retired and keeping with the " go lean" model my direct supervisor and her higher-up absorbed her responsibilities. While this would make sense if we had hired an additional team member in our department or a lead of some kind, we did not and are now expected to bare the extra burden with no consideration to compensation or how this would affect our workflow. This is an organization-wide issue and while this affects the employees greatly, it ultimately affects the patients that we serve on a much deeper level.
