Pros

PTO, travel opportunities, onsite medical resources

Cons

I spent many years with the company and was proud to be part of a culture that valued internal talent, teamwork, and deep institutional knowledge. Unfortunately, that culture has eroded. In recent years, there's been a clear shift toward hiring external candidates into leadership roles while overlooking dedicated, long-standing employees. The message is loud and clear: tenure and loyalty don’t matter here anymore. This top-down approach has created a leadership vacuum. Those making decisions often lack the on-the-ground context, and morale among the core staff has plummeted. Many of the people who built the company’s success have either left or been forced out, and it shows. Innovation is being driven by optics and buzzwords, not substance or experience. If you're early in your career, this place might look appealing from the outside. But if you're hoping for long-term growth, development, and recognition, be cautious. The culture that once made this a standout company is largely gone, and I say that with genuine disappointment.

Pros

Harvest has really focused on development and training in 2025. Employees are encouraged to pursue personal and professional growth. It’s great to see all the different opportunities we have now.

Pros

Not one, the compensation is irrelevant because no amount of money is worth having to work there everyday. For some it may be a pro that you can fail to meet your basic job duties and expectations everyday and maintain employment. Some may appreciate that talent, growth, and effort, hinder you more than they help you. Some at Harvest enjoy the eerily fake positive “culture” and the “less you know the higher you go” theme.

Cons

Do not work for a Jeff Hildebrand company, they’re all corruption filled but Harvest leads the pack. If you’re an extremely low performer you will thrive. If not, my suggestion is to save texts, emails, and record all your conversations with management, local and otherwise. The falsified financials, willingness to hide unsafe work practices, and discrimination occur daily and will give you abundant opportunity to use what you have and you will need it. To be successful at Harvest you will be required to put all ethical and moral practices aside and look over your shoulder every day. I discourage everyone in my life from seeking employment at this company.
