Pros

There are none, you are just going to waste your career in Hashmap India. It would be a lot better if you join some other company then Hashmap India.

Cons

1. Hashmap India will make your life at office horrible. Top Management doesn't know how to value their employees and behave as if they are dictators. 2. Horrible policies. 3. There is lot of negativity in the environment with very bad culture. 4. Not much of technical growth, you can learn and grow a lot better in other Big Data firms. You miss out on lot of advanced knowledge and deep understanding. 5. They don't value your work and only carry out favors to some of the employees who are probably very good at wagging their tails. 6. Hashmap India started pretty well but hired very inexperienced and immature management which just made the company worst instead of making it better. 7. A lot of people are hired who were just Big Data trainers earlier and have 0 hands on experience, and doesn't know a thing when it comes to debugging any issues. 8. Horrible salary structure and Tax deductions, you can't ask for increment letter as they will deny it straight, as if it costs a lot to type one single increment letter or they are really scared of mentioning your increment on a piece of paper or mail. 9. No employee benefits. 10. I regret joining this company, when I had an option of joining some other firm.

Pros

1. Work on the latest Big Data Tech. 2. Teammates are personally good and helpful. 3. CEO and a few senior engineers are excellent at tech. 4. A small birthday party once a month. 5. Can join the development team.

Cons

Note: If you are applying for Cloud Admin, Hadoop Admin or DevOps Engineer, please don't undermine yourself if you are rejected. I knew interviewers personally, and they ask questions about things even they don't know. Just that they themselves prepared for the interview, their knowledge is limited to their questions only; especially cloud interviewer. 1. Professionally almost everyone is a fresher there. So nobody knows anything (though they might claim to know). 2. You're on your own. Don't expect any training/mentoring. 3. You could be working on a dead project for months, or they can change your project multiple times in a day. Every senior employee behaves like CEO. 4. CEO will always market the company to you that here you'll learn a lot. So they always underpay you(unless you're a fresher from AIT, Pune which they consider "Cream" college). 5. Indian management people (including VP, hr) are 'yes' man. They'll always say yes to you, to owners and ultimately what father of CEO (who owns Indian company) says, happens. 6. Company has two kinds of people, Freshers & Ex-trainers who have become either manager or architect. Both know nothing. 7. Salary will be well below your capability, or well above you deserve. You have to be lucky. 8. Foul-mouthed management. They can undermine you, your work in seconds. 9. Forget WFH, extra leaves. 10. Nothing is on time. Appraisals will happen 3 months late. They do not give Appraisal letters, promotion letters, nothing. 11. Micro-management like In-Time, Out-Time, Break time. 12. Prepare to be fired, if you don't meet their unrealistic expectations. They can also fire you on their prejudice. 13. They monitor snacks. Each biscuit, tea and coffee cup. 14. Would need to work in client time zone. For female applicants: Their main cloud administrator(currently working as of April 2019), who is also a partner of the CEO's father in another venture, is a healthy flirter. Even after multiple complaints, he is only ripped of his leadership roles(which earlier were leading the standup).
