Good work life, balance, good potential to earn bonus money. Lots of resources for marketing, education, and growth.

Cons

A lot of change in a short amount of time, redirection and not having much money or budget for marketing

Pros

If you are young and generally inexperienced, Program Director positions will look attractive.

Cons

Loyalty, measured by years of service and performance, generally is not reciprocated. Corporate management upheavals generally end up screwing folks at the local level. And drive a hard bargain for initial pay because annual increases NEVER exceed 3% (good luck with today’s inflation)!

Cons

Very number driven, see as many patients as you possibly can with out breaks or lunches, patients have long weight times. Its more about the numbers than quality of care. Directors get a fat bonus for YOU working yourself to death
