People are helpful and friendly. Benefits are adequate -- similar to larger competitors.

Cons

Management is not strategic, board is weak and company, for its size, is extremely top-heavy. They solve most budget problems by outsourcing and layoffs instead of strategically considering other ways to cut costs.

Some really good people in the company, I have stuck around this long because I love my team! Work never gets stagnant - always new things to learn

Cons

Too much work gets pushed to analytic department for us to do great jobs at most things and to have a good work/life balance. Have to rush through projects and as an analyst, it's hard to dive into the data as much as I'd like. Also, the corporate structure makes it hard to get problems solved (most in terms of data) efficiently or at all.

Good company with great employees. Many have been there for a very long time and have contributed to shaping the culture.

Cons

Since Centene’s acquisition of Health Net, the company has taken a nosedive in culture. For example, hiring people who don’t have industry experience and who carry a lot of ego. HR doesn’t handle management issues after multiple grievances. Too much favoritism. Lack of career growth depending on which department and who you report into.
