Pros

Great benefits package. Also, the industry is growing rapidly and HealthMEDX is poised to take the market over. Management is flexible with scheduling, and we're able to work from home when we need to. The casual dress code is also nice.

Cons

Work-life balance can be lacking at times, Management has a failure to execute at times.

Cons

Extremely high turnover rate, particularly of management and entry level personnel. Low compensation all around, not only based on national averages for like jobs, but also low for the area. A lot of good talk about change for the better -- followed by more of the same. Complete lack of training. Even after there appeared to be a new emphasis on training new hires, many already complain that the training they get is worthless and just a boring waste of time. Existing employees have to go out on their own to even get a grasp of the products and the industry they serve. With an ownership change it appears that the existing employee base is nothing but a group of outsourced temps.

I have been given tremendous opportunities to grow and succeed at HMX. The management team truly believes in promoting from within, and works hard to look internally when promoting. I have personally benefited from that philosophy, and many of my colleagues have as well. I love working for a company that I can believe in, and I know that HMX has the most innovative product and vision in the industry. My colleagues and I work really hard, and we play hard too. I trust the leadership at HMX to take the company in the right direction, and to take care of me financially as well. We have great benefits and I feel well-compensated for my hard work.

Cons

Almost everyone at HMX works incredibly hard. I think sometimes that pressure gets to people when we're in a high-stress period.
