Decent Company, But Not Livable Wages

Pros

This is a decent company. Everyone is pretty nice, the office environment is good, and it has some remote positions. Employees are fairly good people and management is fair.

Cons

Don't expect to make ends meet. If you want a job right out of college, great, but you won't be living independent/staying long on $12/hr. Great for people that are married/depend on others for living expenses, but not for singles struggling to make ends meet. There's also not a lot of room for job growth/promotion.

Our starting wage for hourly positions is notably higher and we do our best to offer a fair and competitive total compensation package. Treating mandatory meetings as your hour lunch Management talking to base-line employees about you or others Changing the Handbook for the worse and letting no one know Ever changing Health Insurance from good to bad Pay does not stay competitive for the years you've been there/they don't match cost of living Talking to HR never felt worth it about any issue People scared to report higher ups as nothing will be done and fear of retaliation

You have a job. That is about all I can up with.

Cons

Micromanagement. Unrealistic expectations, tweens being put in management positions with zero experience, no empathy, no human decency understanding, expecting you to ignore your kids working from home and have no work from home - work balance life. No tolerance to needing a day off for an unforseen issue. You better be a robot with no personal life/issues or anything of the sort.
