Flexible work environment due to no leadership or accountability

Pros

Tons of flexibility, including the ability to really do little work. The unfortunate side of the flexibility is that it is due to lack of leadership, vision, and accountability for poor performance. This is a cultural issue with HealthStream that is entirely systemic.

Cons

Tend to pay 15 - 25% under the going industry rate with no support from leadership and no real solutions to continually recurring problems.

Pros

Great people to work with. Family friendly. Fair and ethical company. Promotes from within whenever possible. Encourages team work.

Cons

Although encouraged, some teams don't always work well with others. There have been occasions of bully-like attitudes by a few individuals that have been overlooked. Some salary disparities.
