Pros

The company itself is incredibly successful and isn't going anywhere. The connection to HCA means great flexibility to shift into roles there and access to great healthcare and insurance pricing. Being part of a massive corporate entity means discounts to some local places. The corporate office is beautiful, new, and includes a large gym and a subsidized cafeteria for cheap breakfast and lunch. Pay is competitive if you ask for it from the start.

Cons

If you're not a conservative, white, straight, male who likes following orders, you won't fit in here. Diversity efforts are very superficial. The corporate culture is very "command and control" and micromanaging leadership hinders people from thinking too creatively, implementing much change, or truly putting their expertise to work. The remote work policy is more or less nonexistent. During COVID we were given the "privilege" of working remote and now that "COVID is over" we're being given the "priviledge" of one day per week but there's even talk of that being cut. PTO and 401K match are awful and really only serve you after 5+ years with the company. No other benefits to speak of. Bonuses and annual raises basically don't exist.

Pros

Onsite gym and cafeteria are nice if/when they are fully operating. Some services were listed due to COVID and never returned to full service.

Cons

PTO is terrible! They claim their benefits are comparable to other healthcare companies but they are not great for corporate type employees. HealthTrust does not fully embrace remote/hybrid work. They act like employees should be grateful for WFH 1 day a week yet were able to function at 100% remote during the height of the pandemic when it was convenient for them. Employees request for more flexibility have been ignored! Pay is not particularly great. 401K Match is terrible unless you have been there for 10+ years. Basically, unless you have been grandfathered into the old benefits don't expect much.

Pros

Flexible work hours, work from home days, 401k, healthcare (not the best but ok), yearly training budget for professional development

Cons

The leadership is HORRIBLE!! Teams are HORRIBLE! Individuals within the organization (business / TI) are more concerned with what you wear to work versus the quality of your work. Teams are clique driven and if you don’t fit in you are left alone to work in a silo. Individuals are promoted within to positions knowing they are not qualified for the role due to the lack of education and experience. High school like drama is a daily thing, screaming at each and walking out of meetings happens daily. Problems are never addressed or solved only brushed under a rug. Half the original staff has left the company, individuals are turning in their notice daily, creating a mass exodus. Yet the under qualified leadership has not addressed the problem and still expect projects to be delivered on time.
