Pros

Salary was average for the position--better than I thought it would be

Cons

Healthtrust/CHS and HCA all intermingled for the hiring process, and they were very disorganized and unprofessional. HealthTrust uses HCA's HR & benefits but doesn't really have authority over HCA, so it seems there are communication problems between them and what seems like bickering. But worse then that, they made the offer verbally and provided the salary but wouldn't answer question about pto--she said she'd email that; now I see why! They only give two weeks pto, which is way out of date! And when I tried to negotiate it, they got visibly annoyed--just all kinds of ways unprofessional! Obvious they are just looking for bodies--don't care about individuals!

Pros

HealthTrust is a truly exceptional company that offers a fantastic work environment with a positive and uplifting work culture, and is comprised of good people who are passionate about their work. The company is also known for its strong commitment to ethical business practices and a leadership team that genuinely cares about its employees. With meaningful work that has a tangible impact on improving healthcare outcomes, HealthTrust is a company that truly stands out in its industry.

Cons

While HealthTrust has many strengths, there are also some areas where the company falls short. One of the major concerns is that the company has been slow to embrace remote work, which has resulted in the loss of talented employees who were seeking more flexible work arrangements. Additionally, HealthTrust may not be one of the higher paying companies in the industry, which could make it difficult to attract and retain top talent. The vacation accrual rate is also lower than what is typically offered in the industry, which may be a point of contention for some employees. Finally, being an internal candidate may not always lead to upward mobility within the company, which can be frustrating for employees who are seeking career advancement opportunities. These issues are important to consider when evaluating HealthTrust as a potential employer.

Pros

pto is decent and medical benefits are cost effective, work hours were good

Cons

Very micromanaged, toxic management, their Credentialing site doesn't work well, lots of turnover- one of the worst job environments I've ever experienced and I was remote.
