Pros

Beautiful building that is within a prime location to commute.

Cons

Majority of the reviews on this company are fake because of the overwhelming complaints about this company HR has posted fake reviews in order to recruit more employees. This is the worst manage company I have ever worked for. The Telecommunications manager is the worst network manager that doesn't have fundamental skills in networking but makes to the ridiculous recommendations in resolving problems. There is constant network outages with poor network management for assigned remote sites. Keep in mind a lot of people that work at Health first are managed by intimidation so very few are brave enough to speak up when managers do the wrong thing. This is not a company to work for.

Pros

Ambition to work with some new technologies Money and benefits are on par with NYC market Money pours in for technology project for a company that is not much profitable

Cons

IT department and overly ambitious business transformation has created an extremely stressful and chaotic workplace. There is no plan for achieving business value for all the investments. Trust is absolutely absent and the most of the senior management has evolved to a dictatorship with zero predictability and ego that is unparalleled. Everyone that i know is looking for new jobs. It has been the most toxic and chaotic time (having worked in multiple fortune 500) of my career. HR is completely useless and there is zero confidentiality. Engagement surveys are a joke. Most of the senior hires have been brought in to replace fired employees having little maturity and track record to engage employees. I would be very very cautious of joining the firm regardless of the position and money being offered.

Pros

The onboarding is the best part. Everything is a let down from there.

Cons

The company is taking advantage of the chaos created by the affordable care act to exploit sick, poor people in the "markeplace" in order for its own 1 percent (at the very top) to make a huge profit. Nothing else really matters, which is why a small group of incompetent, political "yes" people -- directly under executive management -- yield at so much power.
