Pros

You get cupcakes and ice cream.

Cons

Very little upward mobility. Antiquated 'tier' classification of employees. Pay is low.

Pros

Buildings are clean and the hours are consistent.

Cons

Everything else. Waking up to go to this job was so stressful because of how awful the environment is. Like others have said, training is nonexistent, and then they're irritated with you when you make mistakes. They're overly uptight about dress code in an environment where dress code probably doesn't matter because no one will see you, other than corporate. They play 60s hits, which would be fine, if the "hits" were actually hits and didn't completely suck. Stay away from this place. They lie to you when you apply, and tell you how incredible the growth of the company is and that's why their turnover rate is so high. Well guess what, that's not why, it's because people keep quitting because the job sucks.

Pros

Days for casual dress.

Cons

Poor management drives away good employees. # Elitist Tier system that’s comprised of new people not getting Holiday pay or Paid sick leave. It bodes well when people come into work anyways because they can’t afford to stay home so they rather would come in with an infectious disease. FORGET ABOUT PAID TIME OFF AFTER 90 DAYS because that’s unheard of here... The CEO does everything in his power to UNDERPAY and over-utilize you. Tech floor is like the wild west, after others would trouble shoot -problems would be discovered & they would get swept under the rug, & they wished to ignore it and address it again if it comes back in instead of rectifying the issue right then. there is systemic corruption of the quality of repairs. Not up to Panasonic standards. Full disclosure the boss man/land lord doesn’t let employees use the bathroom in the north building. Of course technically we were always “allowed” but only in case of emergencies. Just skating the line of being or not being an Osha violation. Heartland Customer solutions is cheap. You pay for your uniform shirt. It’s $40. You pay admission to the christmas party. CEO promised a bonus one year at a social & didn’t follow through. He only tells some of the truth. Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom, is written on his building. Hundreds of thousands are poured into lavish events and christmas decorations however if you are under tier one status you typically do not receive any bonus ever. I suspect that his party is put in place to make a profit. The Jefferson building, the one he uses for charity & other business, has white marble flooring with gold filigree. You have to wonder how much it costs to string up christmas lights on all his VPs houses actually costs. I digress..... Order anything from parts room you are waiting at least an hour to get it. It’s supposed to take just a few minutes. Management of the male variety say inappropriate things all the time & are quick to react emotionally rather than keep their wits about them & make decisions in a thoughtful manner. Just generally unprofessional. This isn’t all of the members of management but for the most part everyone is reactive and wrathful rather than thoughtful & proactive. Adhere to old school values and cater to higher ups to get a raise/promotion. I have come across three different women whom have came back from leave & had to pump breast milk in the restroom .....where other people do their business. Doesn’t bode well. This company claims to be family friendly but if you have too many absences there are repercussions, surprise surprise like anywhere else you can get a job. However, you have to try real hard to get fired as they struggle to keep people for longer than a few months. So, yay for job security.
