Great program through IDOA. Rewarding to help seniors in finding more care. Supportive supervisors. Great work/life balance.

Cons

A lot of information to learn, but proper training is provided. Compensation could be better.

Flexible scheduling, if you have a problem going to a client you can refuse to go

Cons

The supervisors just sit in an office all day and somehow can’t get your schedule right and act like they know jobs or clients better than you and it’s annoying

Help at home works hard to meet or exceed industry standards for compensation and it is something that is reviewed regularly but also depends on Medicaid reimbursement rates.
