Pros

Great people, great flexibility, not that hard

Cons

Compensation package is low. I will be making less money this year than I did last year since they made me salary. Which is very frustrating.

We’re so glad you chose to kickstart your career with Team Henderson. We pride ourselves on our flexible people-first culture and are thrilled your experience is living up to what we envision for each and every employee. While there’s certainly differences upon moving from an hourly to a salaried position, such a transition offers some key benefits, most notably consistent and predictable compensation during each pay period. Please feel free to connect with our HR team and we’d be more than happy to give a detailed breakdown of the advantages. Thank you for the four-star review!

Pros

There is a lot of employee support from the company both for work and for life. The company provides a lot of resources for people to do their work. Upper management is very engaging with all the employees and is constantly trying to improve. The most impressive thing I saw at Henderson was the internship program. Instead of just hiring college students for menial tasks, the internship program exposed the interns to a lot of trades and the full-time employees were actively showing the interns how to design the system and the construction process. At the end of the internship, the interns had a presentation showing what they had learned at Henderson.

Cons

Small specialty trades tend to be push in the direction of the rest of the company even it it hurts those trades.
