Pros

1)Coworkers are very nice and met some wonderful people 2) people in IT and HR are very helpful

Cons

1) pay increases are extremely low, about 1-3% a year 2) management can be nasty and difficult to deal with, no wonder turnover is so high 3) benefits are terrible compared to other large companies 4) not much room for advancement 5) people work in silos 6) don’t expect HR to give you an overview of benefits before you start 7) in the office 5 days a work; even Hertz is hybrid 8) very high turnover, even though not many major employers in the area

We are very competitive with compensation and benefits in our industry, and we are very proud of our very low turnover rate. Our values include “We do what’s right, “We’re in this together, and “We prove ourselves every day.” These words speak to our culture at our core as an organization, contrasting with several of the things you’ve mentioned. I understand that being in the office 5 days a week may not be for everyone. Pros

Herc has been good to me, helping me live the dream. You know you are valued by management team. The workplace is close to home, don't have to drive far. Dealing with one customer is a good thing. Herc tries to pay what you deserve to be making. Herc has a positive company attitude and strong leadership and strives on customer satisfactions. A place where employees can feel comfortable sharing ideas and feedback. Herc gives support for work-life balance.

Cons

Herc employees at an onsite branch can make more money by working at an offsite location but you have everyone to deal with. at certain locations there is no room for advancements unless you want to move locations.
