Pros

It's a job that provides a check.

Cons

Management continues to reduce staffing and expects existing employees to make pick up the slack. Little or no training. Number of vehicles in fleet is low, many high mileage cars.

Pros

There were a lot of good people at Hertz who worked together as a team. Company was proactive in trying to beat the competition. Some nice perks for middle management and higher level employees.

Cons

Senior management tried to make too many changes too quickly without understanding the potential consequences. Management often ruled by intimidation creating undo stress among employees. Management kept utilizing consultants who generally were paid to tell management what they wanted to hear. Kept creating new management positions with minimal internal promotions. Health benefits were decreasing.
