Pros

Flexible scheduling and mostly friendly staffers. A bit young. Mostly just out of school so they could get them cheap, but they don't stay.

Cons

Management promoted based on favoritism not work, skills, training or education. One person could get away with something (i.e. 'socializing') while several others would be dinged for it. It all depended on who liked you and who didn't, if they even bothered to know you at all.

Challenging and exciting serving students their academic goals Family type of environment. Colleagues are well educated and very courteous and helpful It is a work place you enjoy working

Cons

I don't find anything negative Vacation for faculty is determined by student break and have no flexibility

Pros

The people that work at HU Online are unbelievable. They work hard, and the truly care about the students. There is a good sense of community on the campus, and people in general like their coworkers. I enjoyed working with all of the departments on campus. We oftened shared lunch together, or got together after work.

Cons

The management under which I worked was not positive.I was not given any training or guidance when hired into a management role. I worked very, very long hours (70hours/week) with no overtime. I have been told it has since changed with a new group of administrators!
