Pros

The company along with most of the leadership, is fantastic. They provide you with most of the skills you need to be successful and continued training.

Cons

The regional manager is awful. Harrassing, inappropriate, sexist. It's definitely Boys Club. On top of that, he is completely incompetent and makes everyone uncomfortable, not just his team members. The turn over in the area is extremely high but the company would rather hang on to him and hire new reps than remove him from his role. It's sad and a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Pros

Pros? I had a good manager. I liked my coworkers.

Cons

I started at Hibu in November of 21 and it was decent enough for Corporate America. We had a modest departmental holiday party and I was given my birthday as a paid day off. Nice modest perks. The health insurance was solid. The following year the holiday party turned into some FORCED holiday luncheon that if you did NOT attend you had to use PTO time to cover it because you were not permitted to continue working. Birthday as a PTO day vanished, too. The following year the health insurance became - in a word, bad. In fact, it was often like not having insurance. I had to get another job to make ends meet because I was living in a metro area in the northeast and not really making quite enough. I got Highly Successful in my annual evaluations regularly, and a whopping raise of mere cents an hour! I worked there for 7 years and all of my combined raises came out to less than TWO DOLLARS AN HOUR MORE PER HOUR THAN WHEN I WAS HIRED!

We appreciate your 7+ years at Hibu! Our employees are our best asset and we do like to encourage attendance at our company events to show them the appreciation they deserve. We also felt it was important to get together in person as a team where possible especially as the impacts of the pandemic begin to subside. We are surprised by your comments regarding benefits, we evaluate our plans annually to ensure our employees get the best offering we can provide. Wishing you success in the future!

Pros

Good base salary while you have a job.

Cons

Management style is bullying, guilting you why your sales don't equal the 2% of the reps that bring over a Book of Business from another Digital Marketing competitor while you pick at a Beat Up territory that most of the good account already are taken

Our managers spend a lot of time training and developing our employees to ensure they are successful. On top of our managers, we invest heavily with our training team to provide additional resources to our sales employees. This has resulted in Hibu being named one of the Top 50 Companies to Sell For that past 4 years. Wishing you the best!
