While I was with Marriott, I felt that movement and promotions were hard to come by given the size of the organization and that there was little to no expansion in the market. Highgate gave me a great opportunity to showcase my skills running one of their Hotels. In 2 years, I was given another opportunity to run an additional Hotel to become a Bi-plex General Manager. In my 3rd year, I was promoted to a big-box hotel. I appreciate the trust that they put into their people to allow them to grow and succeed!
