Highgate has been great to me since I joined. You really stay with an organization where you feel cared for and respected. I’ve had amazing bosses/mentors and have learned something from everyone one of them. We stay in this industry because we really love what we do and who we work with. I love that every day is different. I’ve had the fortune of having amazing GMs, VPs and Corporate partners and on property colleagues. They really make me feel supported in my decisions, my team’s and just asking how they better support us. My property is really about family and heart. I love the promotion opportunities. One year, we promoted 17 associates—an all-time high! Every one of them deserved it and I'm happy to see all of them grow. I'm a product of promotion too. I use my story and several others when I'm asked about growth potential.
Cons
Maybe an extra holiday in the year, but that’s stretching it. I'm really happy with the benefits, culture and leadership.
