Pros

Large group of hotels in NYC- either owned or managed by Highgate. Staffing Diversity, opportunities for those eager to move into Mgm't.....however

Cons

Micro Management by owners & Highgate- should find some common ground. STRONG old school Union presence. Which can be challenging when you are attempting to change the culture to fit newer SOP's

Pros

No one looking over my shoulder. There is a trust by my manager to get things done. He does not have to tell me what to do or give me projects. There is a new focus on training of all team members and Managers to get to the next level. There is a good effort to have social bonding.

Cons

Approvals are slow. Pay is mediocre.
