Pros

i can't really think of any pros to this company. maybe being able to see the amazing fish tank everyday at waikiki location?

Cons

let me explain something to you. the reason its call highgate is because corporate act like they are up there in the sky and you have to answer to them at the gate. Wrath of god like attitudes and it passes down to local management and then they pass it to employees trying to make a good job at what they do.

Poor Management Attitude from the Top

Pros

The company is very good at making investment profits. They offer decent compensation, but have scaled back on benefits packages considerably in the past few years.

Cons

Senior management is run with a severe God Complex, ruling by fear and disregarding any constructive criticism. Executive management views the company as theirs only with all other associates working for them, not as peers or a team, but simply as expendable staff. They organize nice dinners and sports outings for a select group of 7-15 executives/managers, often making the plans known to the entire office. They do not develop associates nor follow any steps to promote high achieving individuals; instead they increase salary to get people to stay on. They fire people constantly, so everyone who works there keeps their mouth shut in order to stay employed. HR often says things like "people should not complain because they are lucky to have a job right now", "have you seen the unemployment lines out there?" and "anyone of us can be let go at any time." This type of attitude coupled with high performance expectations does not foster a positive working environment. Overall, it is a very uncomfortable work environment and not a place where you can count on being developed.
