Leadership Lacks Integrity and Accountability

Pros

Property level teams are hardworking and dedicated, the culture at the top undermines trust and morale.

Cons

Current senior leadership consistently failed to uphold ethical standards and company values. Decisions and communications often lacked transparency, which created a misalignment between what was promised and what was executed.

This company is a NIGHTMARE!

Pros

The snack and event budget is large and staff members often indulge if the manager doesn't mind, that's about it.

Cons

Reviews posted before August 2025 do not reflect the current work environment! There is little to no job security now. During a recent “company restructure,” hundreds of employees were terminated overnight and multiple positions were eliminated. Instead of offering severance, the company reassigned staff into roles with the same responsibilities but at a much lower salary, giving the choice to accept or quit. Employees traveling to support new lease-up properties were informed their pay was being reduced and housing accommodations would no longer be covered, leaving many without stable arrangements and no travel compensation. There are also confirmed plans to eliminate all remote positions, with rumors that the Community Manager role may be removed by the end of the year. There are concerns about fairness in hiring and retention practices. Recruiters have been instructed to prioritize certain ‘attractive’ candidates, which creates the perception of bias and discrimination. Compensation is another concern. Salaries can be cut by as much as $20,000 without warning, and the lease-up commission structure is extremely low: no commission until after 20 move-ins per month, and then only $40–$60 per lease. Overall, it is clear that the company’s focus is on cutting costs, starting with onsite personnel, rather than supporting long-term employee growth or stability.
