Pros

Fun work environment if you love what you are doing. Travel perks.

Cons

Especially in sales, they do not have very good family work life balance. You are expected to be married to your job to produce revenue for them.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us your feedback. We acknowledge that Team Members have responsibilities outside of work so we do what we can to help them manage these multiple demands knowing work life balance is very important. Having leaders hear what's working and what's not working at Hilton helps us make changes for the better, which can ultimately impact the guest experience in a positive way. If you would like any further assistance in addressing these concerns, please reach out to your HR team or direct manager.

Pros

I spent about 4 years total working for Hilton Hotels in Orlando, FL, both as a direct employee, then as a contracted concierge. Overall, it was a great experience and a wonderful company to work for. Pros are as follows... -Decent wages -Excellent PTO system -With it being hospitality, expect to work a lot of weekends and major holidays. But in my experience, we got to choose which holidays were most important for us to have off, and we typically got the ones we wanted. -Fun, friendly work environment. I met several of my closest friends from Hilton. -Company is constantly growing and evolving, so there's always openings and opportunities for growth

Cons

The cons I experienced working for Hilton were mostly associated with my direct managers, so they can't really be applied to the company as a whole. Management is almost always changing, as promotions are quite common. In the 2 years I spent in my first role with Hilton, I had about 7 different direct managers. Some I liked, and some weren't so great. I ultimately left that particular role and property with several other employees because the new manager was not working out for us. But again, that only pertains to that particular experience. Also, be sure to fight for your annual raise. Each year, you are reviewed and "graded" on your job performance. Your raise is then a reflection of that score. If you don't agree with your scored, fight it and see that you get the raise you deserve.
