Current management (in Australia) has no experience in the health care arena or in managing a large company. Extremely poor management and people skills. The Australian company has stayed afloat due to loyal and dedicated staff. Current management has a very strong bullying culture esp. to women. There is little understanding of the relationships built with customers or how to maintain the business. Focus is on one off sales & price hikes with no understanding of ongoing sales via consumables or the health economic climate

I joined the company with high hopes, as the management often emphasized the importance of their values and the role of employees in the organization. Unfortunately, my experience did not align with the company's stated values. Despite raising various concerns and providing potential solutions to improve our working conditions, it was disheartening to see that little changed. The manager seemed overly focused on meeting numerical targets, which, at times, felt unattainable due to the disarray in our production processes. Quality issues were occasionally concealed to avoid scrapping entire batches of products in an effort to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). When these concerns were brought to the attention of the manager with ample evidence, the response was not as expected. Instead of addressing the issues constructively, there was resistance and even hostility towards those who raised the concerns. This situation created a significant amount of pressure on the employees, ultimately leading some to leave the company. It's essential to remember that not all experiences within a company are the same, and other factors, such as the specific department or team, may have influenced my experience. While there were issues with the management's approach to problem-solving and a focus on numbers over quality, I acknowledge that some individuals might have had different experiences. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and can contribute to positive changes within the company.
