Red flag for Marketing

Excellent company on paper. Empowering mission, great benefits, competitive pay.

Cons

The expectation, within Marketing, is to work overtime, on the weekends and even when taking PTO, so you’re not actually taking any time off. Oftentimes you will be working on projects outside of the scope of your role to “be a team player”. When in actuality they are not hiring the appropriate heads. The culture is terrible within the Marketing department, hence why there is a high overturn. Leadership, within the Marketing department, is very cliquey and biased. Growth is biased & frequent if you are within the clique, but nonexistent otherwise. There is constant finger pointing, not following the proper processes, poor communication, unprofessional environment - especially with client emails and calls.

Wide range of products and some of high quality

Cons

Adding random companies, concepts and goals happens frequently. No communication or teamwork between different business units. No morals. When a challenge arises, they will take the easiest solution without regard for their employees.

Pros

Hologic generally has a good rep, but working in Manufacturing at Hologic you are considered a robot. The company tolerates toxic employees and managers and rewards bullys.

Cons

Toxic work culture. Management constantly changes the work procedures and required documents. Training on critical work procedures is conducted in minutes while standing in front of a TV screen at shift change. Management quick to throw people under a bus. The disposable business is a sweatshop. Very high turnover rates prove this.
