      Pros

      There's room for growth within department. Employers are very friendly. Good balance between life and work.

      Cons

      Salaries are very low and you're not provided with a salary range. Politics play a huge role. Specialy in QC. Management plays a lot of favoritism. Even if you do a great job, if you're not a favorite you won't move up. Benefits are horrible.

      Hologic bought Gen-Probe and I'm still here

      Pros

      Direct Managers are supportive and came up through the Field Service ladder. Good benefits Very fair salary Very good work/life balance Stock purchase program and Restricted Stock Units gifts Overtime and On-Call pay, but minimum on-call responsibility and mostly not much overtime needed.

      Cons

      Like just about any company field service organization, continued upward mobility becomes a popularity contest. Promotions are earmarked before they are posted. Feels like a good ole boy network in that sense. Growing pains with our documentation environment. 3rd iteration this year (2018)

      Great focus on women's health services.

      Cons

      As Hologic has scraped the business plan of Cynosure, that made them a $500+ million a year company, laid off 80% of the Sales force, sales have sunk. The company struggles to remain afloat. Engineers leaving weekly, Manufacturing Dept. lays idol.
