Challenging but Rewarding

Business Outlook

Pros

Opportunity to directly impact seniors and families in need—very mission-driven work. Autonomy in decision-making and shaping business operations. Strong support from national franchise team with resources for compliance and training. Exposure to multiple aspects of the business—HR, sales, client relations, operations—which makes it a great leadership growth opportunity.

Cons

High caregiver turnover despite competitive pay and incentives; requires constant hiring and retraining. Recruiting reliable caregivers can be difficult and time-consuming, impacting client satisfaction. The role can be demanding, juggling compliance, staffing, and client issues all at once. Work-life balance can be a challenge, especially during staffing shortages or emergencies.
