Zero support, lack of any structure, old school thinking, rules on top of rules with no clear reason behind them, low pay, focus on quantity versus quality, no focus on improvement.

Great company. Freedom to run your branch as your own business with the support of qualified regional VP’s, technical directors, regional sales managers, and corporate heads. You have an opportunity to succeed. Flexible and adapts well to markets. You are part of a team that shares in your success. Pay is good, choice between company vehicle or vehicle allowance if you want to use your own vehicle. General Managers drive unmarked vehicles that are professional. General managers have a choice between 5 vehicles to order for them to drive. Benefits are outstanding, employee relief fund is set up within company to help employees in need. Women’s leadership council to develop our future women leaders in the company. Overall great family feel. Very transparent even have Employee engagement scores every year for employees to rate everything from benefits to their managers. Customer Loyalty Measurements to ensure how are customers feel about us.

Cons

At times budgets make decisions but the support staff is there to ensure support and guidance to balance you out.

Pros

Great product and customer base. Take home vehicles for sales / service departments. Good salary for technicians. Growing rapidly. Stable employment / pay.

Cons

Benefits to employees are set up by Rollins which is less than desirable. The benefits (especially medical) do not stack up well against other large corporations. Rollins is only concerned with making as large a profit as possible, and all you're ever given as an explanation for the deficiencies is "We're self insured, and the expenses are too high." Well if that's the case then find insurance from an insurance provider and stop squeezing the employees. Managers are pressured to do more with less, and not appreciated for doing so. There is little formal training for new managers, but high expectations to perform as if you know what to do. Front line managers are not included in the company's employee focus. We are directed to "handle with care", but not "handled with care" from above. We are the forgotten class at HomeTeam.
