Pros

The salary increase from hourly associate to salaried management is awesome!

Cons

You will receive little to no true training other than the bare minimum required to run the building. Some still struggle with basic operational functions. Goals are set unrealistically with no support from upper management. And lastly, this billion dollar company cripples efficiency by refusing to invest in technology. Computer applications are stuck in the 1980s.

Pros

I loved the work, people I worked with and the merchandise. Lots of opportunities to move up if you're serious and motivated.

Cons

They definitely don't pay enough compared to all the responsibility I had as a full time coordinator and key carrier. I was responsible for closing the store as the only manager there, at least 4 nights a week. I had alarm codes, safe codes, ect. But was only getting paid $2 above minimum wage.

Pros

The staff was great, the job was always different everyday - no two days were ever the same. Variety of items in the store was great!

Cons

Never had a set schedule so hard to make plans. The store manager had no respect for anyone and treated the staff horrible - a few long time employees quit because of her. Low pay and only a very small discount.
