Great culture, bad management

Pros

Great culture between IC’s and direct managers. I think Honey had a unique culture centered around pushing one’s boundaries while making work super fun

Cons

Upper management is god awful. Honey used to have a great management culture but with PayPal, a wave of social-climbing managers came. They primarily care about padding their own resumes and moving onto other FAANG companies without providing any real value.

Pros

I've worked in 3 tech companies in the previous 8 years. I never imagined that a workplace like Honey could possibly exist. It is the most unpolitical, open minded, and transparent company I've worked at. The level of engineering talent here is unbelievable. This may be the honeymoon phase talking but so far I'm drinking the koolaid.

Cons

I was assigned some fairly important tasks 2 weeks after I started. It's great to feel like I'm making an impact, but it was stressful as hell!
