Pros

We get to build great products in a really difficult space. People here take their work seriously. That's why I have to write this review.

Cons

A questionable re-org a couple of months ago left one team in a bad spot. Since then, key employees who were some of the most talented people have left. This is normal with startups, and usually nothing to be too worried about. But it becomes a problem when people inside and outside the team start noticing and questioning how this team is run. The team once comprised of people from diverse experiences. The team now consists of people that don't really understand the product, the industry... or what they are supposed to do. The leader of this team is proud about their 'openness to feedback', but addressing anything directly is met with arrogance and talking badly about the rest of the executive team. It's hard to collaborate on a deep level with this leader. It didn't used to be this way, and it's not supposed to trend in that direction.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We pride ourselves on being a dynamic company with a mission to help change the world so we are glad to hear that you are committed to that mission. Admittedly, we did have a reorg that was very challenging recently. HR conducted 1 on 1 meetings with numerous members of the affected staff after a town hall meeting was held. That information was shared with Senior Leadership and a plan was developed to improve our processes. We hope that the action that we have taken based on the feedback we received will benefit us in the future when we need to make changes as our company continues to grow. If you have any concerns or ideas please take them to your team lead or a member of HR.

Pros

I enjoy being part of a team striving to make the world a better place by providing great home care to seniors. As an engineer, I get to solve interesting problems every day. The people I work with are awesome -- fun to collaborate with and learn from, and also great friends.

Cons

Our current office space is pretty cramped, but fortunately we're moving to a larger office in the fall.
